Coin minted at the Brussels workshop, composed of 75% copper and 25% nickel. The tolerance for the title has been set at 10 thousandths and for the weight at 40 thousandths. This coin was issued in parallel with the 1 franc harvonneuse and the 1 franc puddleur in nickel. Their withdrawal was ordered by the Grand-Ducal decree of November 13, 1952.
First coin issued after the Second World War. The economic union with Belgium is re-established, and the Luxembourg franc is once again equivalent to the Belgian franc.
This is an automatic translation. The original text is:

Pièce en cours parallèlement au 1 franc de type moissonneuse et au 1 franc type puddleur en nickel, leurs retrait fut ordonné par l'arrêté grand-ducal du 13 novembre 1952.
